Thank you for subscribing to our AI service through in-app purchases in our free mobile app (available on iOS and Android). This Refund Policy describes the terms and conditions for requesting refunds for subscription plans purchased through in-app transactions processed through third-party payment systems integrated with our website and mobile app.
1. Right to Refund
Refunds for in-app subscription purchases may be requested under the following conditions:
- Technical issues: The AI service is unavailable or unusable due to technical problems on our side (such as server downtime or app malfunctions).
- Does not match description: The AI service does not work as advertised or does not provide the promised functionality described on our website or in the app.
- Accidental purchase: The subscription was purchased by mistake, provided the request is made within the refund window and the service has not been significantly used.
- Compliance with app store policies: Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) as in-app purchases are processed through their payment systems.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund for an in-app subscription, please follow these steps:
- Submit a request: Contact us via email support@emqui.ai or through the in-app support feature within 7 days of purchase.
- Provide details: Include the order number, subscription details, and a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
- In-app store refund process: Since in-app purchases are processed through third-party payment systems, you may need to request a refund directly through the respective app store:
Apple App Store: Visit enqui.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and submit a request for a refund for the subscription.
Google Play Store: Open the Google Play Store app, go to purchase history, select the subscription, and follow the refund request process.
Our review: We will review your request within 5 business days and, if necessary, coordinate with the app store to facilitate the refund. You will be notified of the outcome via email.
3. Refund Timeframes
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase or subscription renewal date unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws.
For subscriptions with a free trial period, refunds do not apply unless there was erroneous billing during the trial period.
Refunds may be denied if significant use of the AI service (such as extensive API calls or feature usage) is detected during the billing period.
4. Non-refundable Cases
The following are not eligible for refunds unless required by law or due to a defect in the service:
- Subscriptions where the AI service has been significantly used during the billing period.
- Subscriptions automatically renewed after the 7-day refund window has expired.
- Purchases made outside the refund window unless the service was defective or did not match the description.
5. Canceling Subscriptions
You can cancel your in-app subscription at any time through the mobile app or the respective app store to prevent future charges.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
To cancel:
- iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions in the App Store and select the subscription to cancel.
- Android: Open the Google Play Store, go to Subscriptions and select the subscription to cancel.

6. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed through the respective app store's payment system (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) within 7 business days of approval.
The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the in-app purchase.
Processing time may vary depending on app store policies, typically taking 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
